About me

I am a fully qualified, experienced Spanish teacher with over 20 years experience in the classroom. Languages have been my lifelong passion and I want everyone to enjoy learning and using them as much as I do. I understand the challenges that students face when preparing for GCSE and A Level exams and developing self-belief and confidence is at the heart of my teaching practice. I draw on my corporate and teaching experience to make my lessons as fun, engaging and interactive as possible. Aside from achieving exam success, I also want my learners to take away practical communication skills that will support them in life, whether through work, travel or relationships.

20 years of teaching Spanish and French in state and private secondary schools with experience teaching languages from Year 2 to Year 13.
Taught AQA and Edexcel GCSE, iGCSE and A Level
Team leader for OCR Spanish speaking exam for 8 years
Exam marker for AQA for the past 4 years
